Use this tool when you have several structured source lines and want a numbered bibliography. Enter one entry per line as type | author | title | year | source | url. Choose APA, MLA, Chicago, or Harvard. The processor formats every line, sorts the finished citations lexicographically, and numbers them from one.
The type field is accepted for the input contract but is not printed by the formatter. Empty author, title, year, source, or URL values follow the same explicit fallbacks as the single citation tool. This is a local formatting aid, not a source lookup or reference manager.
Each line is split on vertical bars. The first segment is treated as a type marker, then author, title, year, source, and URL are read in order. The type marker is intentionally ignored in the final citation. Completed citations are sorted with the runtime string comparison before numbering.
Sorting means the displayed order can differ from the order you entered. A blank line is not a useful source record; review the resulting list and remove accidental empty entries before submission.
Check that every source survived parsing, the sorted order is expected, and URLs belong to the right entries. Numbering reflects output order, not input order.
A formatted bibliography still needs factual and style-guide review before submission.
Do not use commas instead of vertical bars in the input contract.

The tool does not deduplicate sources, retrieve metadata, or validate URLs.
