Plan the next flashcard review
Use this scheduler after reviewing one flashcard. Enter the front and back text, rate recall quality from 0 to 3, and provide the current interval and stability values. The local processor selects an adjustment, calculates the next interval, advances a due date, and reports updated stability.
The result is an FSRS-inspired planning aid rather than a clinical or academic guarantee. It does not store cards, sync a deck, or know whether your answer was correct. Keep the card in your own study system and use the output as a suggested next review.
What the scheduler calculates
Quality is rounded and clamped to 0–3: Again, Hard, Good, and Easy. The adjustment factors are 0.5, 0.85, 1.35, and 1.85. The next interval is current interval multiplied by that factor plus one quarter of stability, rounded to one decimal and never below one day.
The due date advances by the rounded next interval in calendar days from the current local execution date. Updated stability equals stability multiplied by the same adjustment. Front and back text are displayed as entered.
Read the review output
Review quality names the selected factor. Next interval is the suggested delay, next due date is calendar-based, and updated stability is the adjusted memory value.
Because the due date depends on the current date, save the displayed date with the card if you need an audit trail.
Common mistakes
Do not enter a percentage for quality; the supported range is 0 through 3.
Do not treat the date as permanent when rerunning later; it is recalculated from the execution date.
Scheduler limits
The tool does not store cards, grade answer correctness, or sync with a spaced-repetition app.
It is an FSRS-inspired local heuristic and may differ from your deck software.
Enter a review record
Enter front and back so you can identify the card in the output.
Rate recall quality with 0 for Again, 1 for Hard, 2 for Good, or 3 for Easy.
Enter intervalDays and stability as positive numeric context from your study record.
Run the tool and copy the next interval and due date into your deck or notes.
Scheduling rules
Quality adjustment
[0.5, 0.85, 1.35, 1.85][quality]
Quality 0–3 selects the factor for Again through Easy.
Next interval
max(1, intervalDays × adjustment + stability / 4)
The result is rounded to one decimal day.
Updated stability
stability × adjustment
The output shows the adjusted value to one decimal place.
The due date uses the current execution date and is therefore time-dependent.
